Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide training for handlers and dogs in a relaxed, fun environment, using the positive reinforcement-based clicker training method.

Whether your goal is to participate in dog sports or to simply develop a more enjoyable relationship with your dog, this positive training will prove beneficial. The foundation skills are the same for obedience, agility, freestyle, and therapy dog activities as they are to have a well behaved pet.

At Joyful Dog Training we believe that people and dogs learn best in a relaxed yet purposeful environment. Group classes are offered for puppies and adolescent dogs with an emphasis on positive socialization experiences. Adult dogs are offered private lessons to set them up for success before adding the distractions of other dogs in their training environment. Through private lessons we can focus on what your dog needs.

Clicker training is appropriate for puppies through senior dogs, for dogs that compete in dog sports, and for great family pets.
