Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide training for handlers and dogs in a relaxed, fun environment using the proven, reward-based clicker training method.

Whether your goal is to win an agility championship, to serve your community with your therapy dog, to whirl around the ring in a canine dance competition, or simply to develop a more enjoyable relationship with your dog, this positive training will prove beneficial.

At Joyful Dog Training we believe that people and dogs learn best in a relaxed yet purposeful environment. Dogs learn to offer behavior in order to earn a reward. Handlers learn to elicit desired behavior, mark the behavior, and reward it. Through a variety of exercises and games we build strong working relationships with our dogs.

We offer a range of enjoyable classes for puppies all the way to advanced performance dogs. Clicker training is appropriate for puppies through senior dogs, for dogs that compete in dog sports, and for great family pets.
